Excersise. A word that I have steered clear of for the past 8 years. While I didnt grow up overweight, depression and some struggles threw me into a world I didnt recognize. I gained quickly and have struggled ever since.
There was this beaufitul blonde lady at our church that captured me immediately. She wasnt one of those women that made me feel inadequate or self conscious. She was approachable and humble. Someone Id love to get to know. Her name was Stephanie. As the weeks passed and we learned more about each other I saw a light in her that shined every time we talked about my weight or my health, or my attempt to have a baby. She slowly approached me in a very loving, caring way and asked if I wanted to work out with her. At first I just laughed. She knew me, was she crazy? But, the difference was, she loved me. She cared for me. She was concerned for me, and she knew she could help me.
Low and behold, we started. Slowly. Very slowly. I came to her studio and we had a very personal, and private work out time. She encouraged me, she pushed me, she made me feel like I was just hanging out, not working out.
Guess what, I got pregnant three months later.
Stephanie is not just a personal trainer. She is a dedicated, positive, caring friend that knows how to encourage me. Her personal time and attention to my needs made working out and trying to be healthy easier. I didnt feel pressure. Her goal wasnt just to help me lose weight. She wanted to teach me, motivate me, and continue to get to know me. She wanted me to feel happy and have joy. She wanted me to be able to carry and care for the baby growing inside me.
I encourage anyone looking to lose weight and change their life to meet her, see what she offers, see who she is!
